A field trip to the Malham Tarn Field Studies Centre, led by Dr June Chatfield. Within reach of the centre are limestone pavements, mossy limestone walls with ferns, calcareous flush grassland, fen and secondary woodland. There will be plants like the brittle bladder fern that are rarely found in the south-east as well as the limestone habitats.
This is a fully catered event, and lab space is also included. Rooms are en-suite and there may be a supplement for a single room. You will be collected from Settle station by mini-bus if travelling by train.
