Are you a local teacher, interested in food plants and where our food comes from?

Following our successful teacher twilight in January, we are pleased to announce a second ‘Edible plant workshops in your Neighbourhood’ evening.

The event will be held at the Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses on Wednesday 25th April 2018, 4.45pm – 6pm.

This twilight session will:

– Give you the opportunity to meet us in person

– Introduce inspiring outdoor learning environments and opportunities on your doorstep

– Offer a unique opportunity to book on to a special collaborative school session between SLBI and Brockwell Greenhouses

Who we are:

Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses and the South London Botanical Institute are community education charities who run interactive curriculum-linked plant and nature-based education programmes for schools and families in your local area. Both have exciting and diverse sites, and education programmes offering wide-ranging, hands on learning opportunities where children can discover for themselves where their food comes from, how plants reproduce and much more. In 2018 BPCG and SLBI are working in collaboration to provide a series of fantastic workshops as part of the SLBI’s ‘ City Bridge Trust funded programme, ‘Botany on Your Plate’.
