What’s Inside the Food You Eat? Beginners’ Microscopy

An introduction for those interested in having a go at using both a low-magnification dissecting microscope and a higher-magnification compound light microscope. You will learn how they differ and what their applications are. The afternoon includes hands-on activities which take a look at fruits, vegetables and different plant families.

Conducted by Dr Karen van Oostrum.

Booking essential for this free event, with £5 refundable deposit.
