What's On...
The South London Botanical Institute offers a range of evening lectures, weekly courses and day trips covering all aspects of botany and related subjects. The programme comes out three times a year and is sent automatically to members. For the current programme, click / see below.
Recent lectures and visits have covered subjects as diverse
as London’s changing flora, the study of wetland plants and the life
and work of the Institute’s founder, A O Hume, plus study trips to Darwin’s
home, Down House (recently named as a World Heritage Site) and Box Hill (site
of chalkland plants).
