Does anything grow on here?

A Plant Hunt for beginners.

Clapham Common is usually considered to be an extensive area of mown grassland but we shall explore the south side of the Common and see what we can find. All welcome – this walk is particularly aimed at those who consider themselves to be beginners. Some rough terrain.

Roy is a renowned botanist specialising in plant-lore and also president of the SLBI, as well as the author of Vickery’s Folk Flora.

Meet at Clapham South Underground

NB Participants are limited to the numbers currently permitted by the government regarding social distancing, presently we feel 10 are a safe number for this event.

Roy will not be wearing a mask for audio reasons i.e. so that he can be heard, but will be happy to should any participant prefer him to.
