Celebrating Spring – seeds, seedpapers and a little bit of chocolate

Springtime Workshop with native seeds, herbs for home and an easter egg hunt

Celebrate Spring in this workshop where we will make spring-shaped seed papers to stick to cards you can give to your friends and family.

A seed paper is a thick coloured paper that we will make up mixed with native flower seeds – these can then be planted directly into the ground.

We’ll also plant and label different seeds into egg boxes so you can grow your own herb garden at home and plant it directly into the soil (no plastic – hurray!) In addition, there is the SLBI garden to explore with blossoms on the way, frogs’ spawn in the pond and mini chocolate eggs hidden in mysterious places.
