Herbs really do make a dish as well as being very good for us!
Tips and techniques for growing herbs in containers, including the best herbs for small spaces, unusual and exotic herbs that are easy to grow, simple ways to use more herbs in the kitchen. Practical demonstrations may include potting up supermarket herbs, planting lemon-grass, sowing spices or sowing herb microgreens. A demonstrative workshop, more than a talk, so plenty of time for questions.
This event is part of London Climate Action Week Mark will also be giving some information on the importance of growing your own food where possible, or buying local, and not relying on pesticide grown foods that may also be imported from far-off carbon creating producers.
Do your planting alongside Mark too if you want to – list of items needed will be supplied beforehand!
Tickets: £5 refundable deposit* (on attendance) –
