Did you know your genome has changed? Should we worry about GM plants or new vaccines?”

Fighting pests and viruses – the part genomes play and genetic modification – Should we worry about GM plants or new vaccines?”

Professor Sir Colin Berry, who has been involved in regulating medicines, implants and pesticides for the UK government, the EU and World Health Organisation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation, will look at how changes are made in the genomes of animals and plants, and see what we can learn from fighting pests with regard to the current issues of fighting viruses with novel vaccines.
