Documenting Karst Floras in Asia and Latin America

Karst is a soluble carbonate bedrock dissolved by slightly acidic rain water where both typical and rare species thrive. It has a thin soil layer and provides different habitat niches and microclimatic conditions supporting plants that favour the calcium-rich nutrients.
