Planting to Eat!
Part of Capital Growth’s Good to Grow Weekend
We will be preparing to grow on our vegetable raised bed at the South London Botanical Garden (SLBI) – improving the soil, sowing seeds, learning about companion planting and edible flowers, and of course exploring the beautiful garden and the edible plants we already have there.
2 – 3 pm and 3.30 – 4.30 pm
Tickets: £5 per child with one carer, refundable deposit (on attendance) – 6 spaces available for each session.
Sarah Webley, SLBI Education and Outreach Co-ordinator
*Please note: Thanks to funding from City Bridge Trust for our Botany on Your Plate project we are able to offer refundable tickets for this event. If you are able to pay this sum we would be very appreciative of you making this fee a donation to the SLBI – thankyou
The SLBI is a registered charity for botanical education. It supports people of all ages and backgrounds in learning about plants. By making a donation with your booking you will help to sustain our work with school children, families and the wider community. As a small charity, any amount you can give, large or small, will be warmly appreciated and make an enormous difference. Thankyou.
Please be aware that will be observing government guidelines regarding numbers, distancing and masks.
