Grass identification for beginners
Join Maria (Bat) Vorontsova of Royal Botanic Gardens Kew for a beginners’ guide to grass identification. This walk around the beautiful National Trust Morden Hall Park will explore a variety of grasses in a range of areas, including meadow and wetland.
Meet at the Snuff Mill in the park. Nearest stations are Morden (Northern line tube) or Phipps Bridge (Tram) – both a 10 minute walk to the Snuff Mill.
Cafe in the park or bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the grass after the walk (optional).Ground is flat but some rough paths. Toilets in the park, including accessible.
