Herbal Heritage – Uses of our Native Plants

Part of Lambeth’s Heritage Festival

Roy Vickery will lead this walk taking a look at the wide range of plants growing in the churchyard of St Leonard’s Church in Streatham, with particular emphasis on the uses of our native plants. Roy has been carrying out a plant survey for some time here and will be putting this knowledge to good use.

Roy is a renowned botanist specialising in plant-lore and also president of the SLBI, as well as the author of Vickery’s Folk Flora.

NB Participants are limited to the numbers currently permitted by the government regarding social distancing, presently 6 people at 1+ metres, should that change we will update the ticket availability.

Roy will not be wearing a mask for audio reasons i.e. so that he can be heard, but will be happy to should any participant prefer him to.
