Identifying flowering plants without flowers

2009 saw the publication of the ‘Vegetative key to the British Flora’ by John Poland and Eric Clement.  Dr M. has described this as ‘botanically life-changing’ and it has heralded a sea-change in British field botany.   With the aid of this amazing little volume you can now identify any native or naturalised plant in Britain at any time of year even if only a stem and a few leaves survive!  In many cases you can identify a plant from a single leaf or even part of a leaf!   Dr M. is a huge fan of this key and in this session he will lead you through its pages and help you get the hang of its innovative and unfamiliar format.   He will flag up the common pitfalls made by new users and will leave you much better prepared to identify each and every new plant species you find in your garden and on your walks and rambles.   This is the only course in the country by Dr M.  Miss it, and miss the botanical opportunity of the year!   Check out: http://drmgoeswild.com/make-friends-veg-key
