London’s seeds: what there is, where they are

Keeping seeds sowing and growing in London

London Freedom Seed Bank (LFSB) is a network of food growers and gardeners dedicated to saving, storing and distributing open-pollinated seed. London Freedom Seed Base (LFSBase) is a data project launched this year by the LFSB that initially set out to inventorise their seed stock and has grown into a wider attempt to track and record seed saving in London.

The LFSB will be speaking about the origins and development of the LFSBase, the importance of mapping relationships between varieties, seed batches, growers and growing spaces; and discussing seed varieties they have been saving recently.
