New Year’s Day Wild Flower Hunt – Brockwell Park

DonationA plant hunting walk for a brand new year
Roy Vickery will be seeking out the wild plants in flower in this beautiful city park and recording the results as part of the BSBI (Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland)’s annual New Year Plant Hunt.
No botanical expertise necessary.
The walk will last approximately 90 minutes and will include some rougher terrain, so please wear appropriate footwear.
Roy is a renowned botanist specialising in plant-lore and also president of the SLBI, as well as the author of Vickery’s Folk Flora.
NB Participants are limited to the numbers currently permitted by the government regarding social distancing, presently 16 people at 1+ metres, should that change we will update the ticket availability.
Roy will not be wearing a mask for audio reasons, but will be happy to should any participant prefer him to.
