A talk on the life and work of Margaret Gatty, Victorian seaweed collector.

With Jenny Bryant, who spent 40 years studying algae at the Natural History Museum and Heleen Plaisier, curator of the long neglected herbarium at St Andrew’s University where Margaret Gatty’s large algal herbarium is housed.
