Sowing your own herb garden and making a seed bomb!
Helpful herbs and surprising seed bombs!
In this workshop we will be sowing seeds in shoeboxes to grow our own sensory, edible and medicinal herb gardens.
Find out about the different herbs and their uses and see if you can find some in the SLBI garden.
Please bring two shoeboxes if you can as not all herbs like the same growing conditions.
We’ll also make our own seed bombs that you take away for guerilla gardening or gifting to your friends and family.
10 – 11.30 am and 2 – 3.30 pm
Tickets: £5 per child with one carer, refundable deposit (on attendance)
Sarah Webley, SLBI Education and Outreach Co-ordinator
*Please note: Thanks to funding from City Bridge Trust for our Botany on Your Plate project we are able to offer refundable tickets for this event. If you are able to pay this sum we would be very appreciative of you making this fee a donation to the SLBI – thankyou
