A Lambeth Heritage Festival Event
Please note this is an online only event. We have cancelled the Open House tours due to current C19 measures – Apologies for any disappointment
Discover the layers of heritage in the South London Botanical Institute in Tulse Hill.
For the first time, you can enter its doors virtually, by joining an illustrated talk, including a recently filmed short tour of the inside of this beautiful Victorian building. The SLBI was founded in 1910, with an interesting colonial history, and has the same aims 110 years later, of providing plant education to local communities. This is also forming a part of both the Lambeth Heritage Festival 2020 and Open House 2020.
Roy Vickery, President and Helen Firminger.
This is an online event via Zoom. Tickets via donation only.
The SLBI is a registered charity for botanical education. It supports people of all ages and backgrounds in learning about plants. By making a donation with your booking you will help to sustain our work with school children, families and the wider community. As a small charity, any amount you can give, large or small, will be warmly appreciated and make an enormous difference. Thankyou.
We will email you the link and password on the morning of the talk
