Tree Stories: A Storytelling Tree Walk for children and their families

13th February, 11:00 - 12:30

Tree Stories: A Storytelling Tree Walk for children and their families
“Time spent amongst trees, is never time wasted” (Unknown)

Join SLBI Education and Outreach Coordinator Sarah Webley and professional nature storyteller Kerima Mohideen on a wintery tree walk in Brockwell Park.

We’ll be sharing tree stories from around the world, learning more about the beautiful trees to be found in the park, feeling them, sensing them and creating our own tree goblins to watch over them.

We share our planet with over 3 trillion trees, they are the source of all life on earth, and they are varied and magnificent even in the quiet of winter. Spend a short time enjoying their presence with us this February, share your tree stories and create your own tree memories.

Suitable for children ages 6-10 years old. Tickets are £5/child and carers attend for free.

Location: Main Herne Hill entrance to Brockwell Park

Please note: Children MUST be accompanied by a carer. Due to limited capacity we ask that only one carer attends with their child/children.

Please let us know if you can no longer attend the event so we can transfer the ticket to someone else on the waiting list.

This event is supported by The Finnis Scott Foundation.
