Wimbledon Common – Autumn Plant Walk

Wimbledon Common is a of Site of Special Scientific Interest comprised of both grassland and heathland habitats with an impressive range of plants to discover on this walk observing the seasonal changes.
Roy is a renowned botanist specialising in plant-lore and also president of the SLBI, as well as the author of Vickery’s Folk Flora.
NB Participants are limited to the numbers currently permitted by the government regarding social distancing, presently 6 people at 1+ metres, should that change we will update the ticket availability.
Roy will not be wearing a mask for audio reasons, but will be happy to should any participant prefer him to.
NB: Toilet facilities nearby, route can be adapted for participant’s needs
