Join arboriculturist Greg Packman on a walk exploring the trees of Brockwell Park. Find out about the history, mythology and folklore of individual trees species.

Learn about the role trees have played in human society and the stories surrounding them. Uncover the ecological importance of trees to local habitats, and their role in the ecosystem.

Brockwell Park has a fascinating collection of trees, including some of London’s oldest and most impressive.

The facilitator

Greg Packman is a professional arboriculturist (tree manager) working in and around London. He is passionate about ancient trees and everything from tree ecology to tree folklore. Greg provides tree management advice, consultancy and training, as well as a delivering tree walks and talks.
