  • We will endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the website but will not guarantee that it will be available all of the time.

  • We accept no liability for data supplied by any user for display on the website.
  • If you submit data for display on the website you are responsible for ensuring that no data is uploaded or submitted which is untrue, defamatory, obscene or abusive or otherwise objectionable or in breach of any applicable laws or rights of third parties.

Buying tickets, memberships and donations

Ticket orders on our website are processed by Eventbrite. Where we collect payments for memberships or donations on this site, these payments are processed by PayPal. The data these third parties send us and the ways in which we use it is outlined in our Privacy Policy. By buying a ticket in this way you are giving consent for The South London Botanical Institute to process your personal information in accordance with our policies and the prevailing data protection legislation.

Tickets are sold as first come first served, and, where payment is needed, a place is guaranteed once full payment has been received. It is your responsibility to ensure the order is correct and supply all necessary information to complete the order.

Cancellation times are up to 7 days before the event, when a full refund will be given. Where circumstances due to sudden ill-health or reasons beyond your control mean you cannot attend, the SLBI will re-assess this policy in the light of the information you give us.

Personal information

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. The use of this data is described in our Privacy Policy. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property or safety.

Limitations

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by our Privacy Policy or our Terms and Conditions.
