Dye Gardens – An online talk

DonationAn introduction to dye gardens, heritage dye plants, samples of colours from plants and the links to global history, botanical and textile trade. Learn about dye gardens open to the public or community and college projects.
Perhaps start your own dye gardens using seeds saved from the SLBI’s own dye garden – become an SLBI member to get their Seed List!
Zoë Burt is a local designer, educator and award winning artist. Trained at Central St Martins, she designed for UK fashion labels for nearly 20 years.
Zoë tutors in colleges, universities and facilitates experiential workshops for world class venues that promote the intersection of design, craft and horticulture.

The SLBI is a registered charity for botanical education. It supports people of all ages and backgrounds in learning about plants.
