Fungi Foray, High Elms Country Park, Kent
A fungi identification walk

Our fourth walk of the Autumn.

Discovering fungi – A chance to find, identify and record some of the huge range of species we can find growing in various habitats in and around the UK.

High Elms Country Park offers 250 acres of countryside to explore.

The estate is 15 miles from central London, located on the ridge of the North Downs on the rim of the Thames basin.
High Elms is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Local Nature Reserve, enjoying the support of local environmental groups as well as the Friends of High Elms, Natural England and the Forestry Commission. There are chalk meadows and woodlands that support a variety of wildlife including species that are rare in London.

Fabrice will be leading this trip with the help of Mario Tortelli. Please bring a hand lens and dress appropriately for the weather. Also a packed lunch.

Meet at the Green Roof Cafe at 12 pm which is in the park.

Tickets: Donation only please (16 available). Please book via the Eventbrite booking system .
