Plant Hunt – St Leonard’s Churchyard

Roy Vickery will lead this very interesting plant hunt and continuing survey of the plants that grow in an urban cemetery. We started this survey in March 2008. Recently the area has been more actively gardened, so we expect some changes.
Roy is a renowned botanist specialising in plant-lore and also president of the SLBI, as well as the author of Vickery’s Folk Flora.
NB Participants are limited to the numbers currently permitted by the government regarding social distancing, presently we feel 10 is the best number for social distancing.
Nearest train station Streatham. Many buses along Streatham High Road, or from Tooting Bec Station (Northern Line).
