Summer Plant Walks – Balham Pavement Prowl

Roy Vickery will lead this walk studying plants that live our city streets, usually pavements and gutters. Made more visible thanks to the lack of pesticide use by the councils during C19, long may it continue. He is a renowned botanist specialising in plant-lore and also president of the SLBI, as well as the author of Vickery’s Folk Flora.

NB Participants are limited to the numbers currently permitted by the government regarding social distancing, presently 6 people at 1+ metres, should that change we will update the ticket availability.

Roy will not be wearing a mask for audio reasons i.e. so that he can be heard, but will be happy to should any participant prefer him to.
