We are delighted to be opening up our garden for the annual National Garden Scheme Garden Openings.
The garden is really beginning to bloom in April, and there is lots to see and find out about. With our well-stocked labelled beds containing a vast amount of unusual as well as a good deal of usual plants – and trees, many from countries deep in the Southern Hemisphere, a rainwater fed pond full of creatures and wetland plants, a weed border, and a medicinal border – to name just a few! Our gardeners will be on hand for any planting and growing advice, and we will be happy to give you more information on the Institute and all the work we offer as part of our wide ranging botanical education programmes.
You can book your ticket only via the NGS website, there are 10 tickets for each of the designated slots.
Tickets: £3.50 children are free.
Please book here: Visit a garden in your area – National Garden Scheme (ngs.org.uk)
We hope to have some refreshments available depending on current Covid19 rules – and would ask all attendees to observe the regulations when visiting.
