Open Evening in the SLBI garden

Thursday, 19th May 2022, 18:00 - 20:00

Open Evening in the SLBI garden
Wander with a glass of wine in our beautiful botanical garden on a summer’s evening

Our garden is open 6 – 8 pm where you explore our garden as well as meet the gardener and find out more about our planted borders.

Plants and gifts will be on sale and refreshments are available for a suggested donation.

Tickets: £5 Please order via the Eventbrite ticket system

We will also be holding the Dulwich Festival Artists’ Open House at the same time.    You can explore the historic interiors of the SLBI with a group show, ‘Every Plant in its Place’.

Artists: Zoe Burt, Claudia Colia, Kimberley Dixon, Amanda Fife, Helen Firminger, Judy Head, Sophie Kennedy, Elizabeth Myers, Cath Pearson, Joanne Roberts, Elle Salt, Jo Self, Karl Simmons and Maude Smith provide their own interpretation of local plants and the places we find them.

With works on sale include botanical paintings, landscapes, prints, cyanotypes, pen and inks, tiles and embroidery.

The SLBI is a registered charity for botanical education. It supports people of all ages and backgrounds in learning about plants. By making a donation with your booking you will help to sustain our work with school children, families and the wider community. As a small charity, any amount you can give, large or small, will be warmly appreciated and make an enormous difference. Thankyou.
