Magic Mushroom Mondays (Fungi Identification)

Every Monday from 2nd September up to November 25th. Get started exploring the diversity of fungi to be found in South London's woods and commons this Autumn at our weekly identification sessions.  Beginners and experts alike are welcome to bring their finds and share their knowledge.  Drop in any time from 5 - 8 pm.  Show and tell/talk on ecology and identification from 7 - 7.30pm each week. Karst is a soluble carbonate bedrock dissolved by slightly acidic rain water where both typical and rare species thrive.  It has a thin soil layer and provides different habitat niches and microclimatic conditions supporting plants that favour the calcium-rich nutrients.
